Adding New Twitter Followers Naturally With Tweet Adder and Other Social Media Management Tools

Great! You are thinking about or already own the best twitter management tool available today. But to use effectively use Tweet Adder and any other social media management software you may need or want to tweak the default settings to get the best results.

With this program, nothing will be done unless you have the software loaded. As long as you have a reasonable number of profiles entered, it can be left running in the background with no discernable slowdown in other non-gaming programs you may also be running at the same time. If you have a live internet connection and leave your computer on 24 hours a day, the software will certainly run even when you are sleeping.

You should adjust your settings according to your anticipated program running time and internet access. For each profile you can indicate a time frame during which you want all the activity for that profile to be performed. The default is to run them whenever the program is operating.

Another quick adjustment you can make is to have the follow and unfollow done during any minute interval that you choose. The default selection is to do it between 30 and 40 minutes. Making each profile a little different can also give it a more unique appearance and less like an automated process and smooth out the load on your own computer.

Since follow and unfollow are the two main action items in every twitter marketing management program, you should start there. You can set it up to follow new potential friends automatically as long as the program is running. You can also set the time delay between each follow action. The default is between 1 to 3 seconds. If you have also left the daily follow limit set to the default of 50 per time and 100 per day, you might as well increase the time delay. Keep in mind that more than one profile can be working at the same time.

The purpose of these settings is to make it appear as if a real live person is behind each action. For instance, a real person would not, or should not, sit down and follow 200 people every 1 to 3 seconds apart. If you engage is execessive usage in any of your twitter actions, twitter will assume that you are a spammer using an automated robot, and they will suspend your account.

If you aggressively change the default settings of tweet adder or any other twitter management tool, do not be too surprised if your profile is suspended. Keep this in mind if you intend to advertise your twitter username online, offline or in print. Because of this possibility, we suggest that you consider using an expendable user account in the beginning.

Before I bought tweet adder, I had the unfortunate experience of losing a nice profile with almost 10,000 followers. Do not let that happen to you. Tweet adder is supposed to be a tool to help you with repetitive and mundane tasks. It is not meant to spam twitter with useless automatic tweet updates.

When you go to an individual profile, this program also gives you the option to follow new people at that time with a time delay factor that is different than the automatic follow delay. This is a nice way to make periodic adjustments in the number of people you follow.

In addition to follow settings for number of people followed per time, number of people followed per day and the time delay between each, you can also set the software to stop following new people within a ratio of number of followed versus the number of following. This is similar to twitters 2,000 follow limitation.

Once you follow 2000 people, twitter will not let you follow more than 10 percent of the number of people following you. For example, if you have 3000 followers, you can only follow 3000 plus 300 for a total of 3300 people. This prevents people from excessive following just to get more people to follow them back. Otherwise, someone could follow a million people with the hope that 100,000 would follow them back.

Following people is the tricky part. The unfollow settings are much safer to use. But you cannot and should not be aggressive in this area either. There is actually no reason to that either because the unfollow action is somewhat dependent upon the number of people you follow. Normally, the only people you want to unfollow are those that do not follow you back.

However, some followers may start to tweet excessively, use improper language or just not fit in with your intentions. In those cases you also want to unfollow them. You can also put them in the profiles blacklist so that you will not follow them again.

You can also put valuable, interesting and authority twitter users in your profiles whitelist so that  you will not unfollow them even if they do not follow you back.

With tweet adder you have many options concerning following, unfollowing as well as other important features. To make your twitter profile unique and interesting, you should explore all the tabs and experiment with different settings.
