Why are newspapers/media calling a lot of social unrest in America Obama’s problem?

I have been reading the BBC lately and they have been talking about how a lot of right wing groups in America have started to have a larger voice purely because a black president is in power. This isn't Obama's fault isn't it, its all from G W Bush when he was in power but the media is all blaming it on Obama like these groups were not around before him?
